Thank goodness for a night out with AN ACTUAL PERSON. Especially Alyssa. After walking 1.5 miles to Cactus Cantina, we enjoyed mediocre Mexican food and delicious frozen margaritas. Yum. Fully intending to get a cab home, we instead walked a mile south on Wisconsin until we found Gin & Tonic, a bar full of maybe America University students... but mostly late 20s and early 30s lookin' people.
It was here that we danced for a short period of time UNTIL they started to play oldies like the Twist & Shout. That was our cue.
Closer to home than to our original destination we decided to make the remainder of the trek on foot.
Overall: good night.
*yawnnnn... And now for a good (but sleepy) day.
