Getting Directions.

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here," asked Alice. "That depends a good deal on where you want to get," said the Cat.

Rule 3: Let the Work Come to You

On slow days, let the work come to you.
Don't go looking for it.

Today was a slow day and the amount of awesome shit I got done is plentiful.

Today I:

- Researched adoptions on the US State Department's website
- I read articles and looked at photos of the countries I didn't even know existed. (Mauritanian child, anyone?)
(Check out the website, it's fascinating: http://adoption.state.gov/)
- Drooled over DC real estate, more specifically, Georgetown casas. If only I had $10 million laying around.
- Mastered the DC metro system.

Jealous?

You too could accomplish this much in one day.
Just keep in mind:

Don't seek out work, let it come to you.

And, if you're lucky, it'll get lost or find someone else along the way.
